Hello gang. Haven't dropped in for a while but I know several of you have played with me on L4D. Today's chosen poison is Borderlands and man does it burn. All that portforwarding stuff is nonsense so me and Liquid are trying a nice program called Hamachi. If you join I set up a borderlands thingy, access name of our Hamachi server type thing is [ZTTB]Borderlands. Password:zonebone.

Updates as and if it works.

Currently is not working, might get it working later.

I have a fix! Go here!

The alternative is to use Gameranger, which me and Liquid got working.

GamesRanger worked very nicely. A proper fix for the game would be nice though.

I have eventually got the thing working by turning my router access into DMZ mode or something or another. Just brilliant.

Also, I highly recommend the fixes listed right here. The deletion of mouse smoothing, ability to skip cutscenes and addition of a proper FOV make the game oh so much better.

Sooo.. Borderlands. Looks like fun from what I've seen - is it any good?

Ye gods, I've just looked through that list of tweaks - it's been ages since I've had to fiddle around with such arcane mysteries to get a game working. I bet I'd have to update all my drivers and such as well. Eeh, it reminds me what it is to be a PC gamer!
