Yeah those screens don't really show it off too well. If it's at least as good as Prey though, then I'll be happy.

As for Duke 3D updates, there is this if you can get hold of a copy of the original game and, apparently, have a "bad ass" video card. Not tried it myself.

My favourite game based on the Build engine though was Blood.

Be pretty funny when it comes out and ends up possibly being a bit average though, heh.  The screens on IGN did not set my world on fire, nothing wrong graphics wise but they just didn't show any cool action.

I never played 3D though, is there any sort of modern mod, like for half life 2 or something?

I'd have thought I'd be all "Woo" and "Yay" but I'm a small puddle of "meh".
Probably pick it up eventually, but really not bothered.
